Bling is sooo last year

I have heard that Fierce is the new Bling! Seems to be a symptom of the current economic climate. So instead of loading up on gold bracelets and rings, get out all your junk jewelery and funky threads. Could this be a return to the 70s and 80s? Scary makeup and bright flashy clothes - bring (or should I say bling) it on.
