Greetings from sunny Malta
Early spring sunshine, lots of fresh calamari and amazing fish straight out of the sea. You can't beat it. Went to flute concerts in Mdina and Valetta too. Gozo is very pretty, climbed around the Azur Window and got my feet wet. This was our second visit and I must say that I really like Malta. It gives you the advantage of nice weather, English spoken everywhere and even driving on the left! Hiring a car was a good idea, Maltese roads are full of pot holes and the drivers are terrible, but with everybody doing about 40mph maximum it is pretty easy. Just remembered- cakes are really good on Malta - found a great coffee house just near the dome in Mosta which is excellent and inexpensive.

Wedding Trauma
We are going to a wedding in Italy in the Summer, and my better half is already planning her outfit. So far she has a Butler & Wilson necklace and, when we were in town on Friday, spotted some beautiful shoes to go with it - bright pink, which will be great for a sunny day. A bargin at £99.95. Imagine my shock when she said lets go back and buy the ones in purple too. Good job I am hiring my morning suit. Still it would be really dull if we were never extravagant. Before you ask, she already has that mug which says find shoes you like and buy them in every colour!

I want some Sun!

Deep midwinter and I think I am going down with seasonal affective disorder. We have been to this great apartment on the south of France in Theoule sur Mer. The views over the Med are amazing, and you can see the rich and famous splashing about on their yachts.
Have a look on the website www.provencalapartments.co.uk to get some info. Its not expensive and its very well equipped and ideal for Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez. I particularly liked the restaurant on the beach in Theoule. You have to book, but you can sit with your feet in the sea being fed the most scrummy sea food and drinking rose in the sun. What could be better?
Its the ideal place to take someone to that you have met on www.singlenotdesperate.com for that perfect romantic break.

Getting to the station on time - or not
Had to catch the 8:45 to London this morning. About 2 inches of snow fell last night and when I went to get the car out it slid all over the place. At one time I was stuck right across the road and couldn't go back or forward. Smug 4 wheel drive owners crept by, but didn't offer to help.
Eventually gave up, then thought, lets try our other little car to see if that is any better. The snag was we haven't driven it for about 2 weeks, (how good is my carbon footprint!) so there was about 1 foot of snow all over it. Once cleared, it zoomed out no problem and got me all the way to the station. Of course the train had gone by then, but I got the next one. Great western said use your existing ticket, even though it was for the earlier train, at no extra cost. Good job Ryanair isn't running the railways, you can just see them letting you do that!
Got to London, no snow, but people dressed ready for a hike up Everest - we country folk know what real snow is!!!

Arthur Daley eat your heart out

With all this snow I dug out my sheepskin jacket. Old and musty it may be, but it certainly keeps the drafts out. All I need is a cigar, a mark4 Jag and a trilby and I will be the man himself. Imagine my surprise when people like Kate Moss are donning their sheepskin jackets too. Wow I am the height of fashion!

Oh no! the G-Spot is a myth!
After extensive research it seems that the G-Spot, beloved of 60s sexperts doesn't exist. I have been hoping to come across one at some time, but so far no luck. Oh well seems like I was wasting time....
